Meet Torill Næsheim, a talented artist based in Oslo. With a background in graphic design and illustration since 1986,
Torill has been bringing dead materials to life through her puppet design and puppet making work for puppet theatres and theatres since 1994. Recently, she has been exploring the world of clay, drawing inspiration from nature’s shapes and colors to create ceramic objects that are not only beautiful but also functional. Torill studied puppet theatre at the Norwegian Puppet Theater Academy and established “Figurteaterkompaniet” in Sweden in 1994. Since then, she has designed and made puppets for various theaters, TV, and The Norwegian Opera & Ballet.
