Yianna Nicolaou is from Cyprus. She is a graphic designer and an artist. She works as a graphic designer at European University Cyprus.
As an artist she has held 4 individual exhibitions and participated in a number of group exhibitions.
In 2007, she presented her first solo exhibition at Stoa Aeschylou in Nicosia, entitled "Human Mermaids".
In 2012, she presented her second solo exhibition at the art space "Aeschylou 83" in Nicosia, entitled "Coordinates".
In 2014, she presented her third solo exhibition at the Lemoni Bookstore in Athens, entitled "Free Flight".
In 2017, she presented her fourth solo exhibition at the Gloria gallery in Nicosia entitled "Where is the butterfly”.
The materials she uses to create are mostly oil on canvas as well as other media such as engraving, ceramics and video art.
From 2022 she started experimenting with cyanotype.
